A morning in Lisbon

Take the 28 up through Graça before the crowds, then coffee at the kiosk by the viewpoint.

Walk down through Alfama while the streets are still cool, and stop wherever the tiles are best.

Lunch is grilled sardines by the river. After that, nobody hurries.

In the evening, the light turns gold over the rooftops and the trams run full.

Weekend plans

Are we still on for the lake on Saturday?

Yes, leaving at nine.

Perfect, I’ll bring lunch.

Half a minute at a real Mac: a meeting, a song, a message, by voice alone.

Blink at work: a voice command, and the Mac does it

Faster than using mouse or keyboard.

Blink reads what’s on your screen and matches your words itself, so most commands are executed in less than 100 milliseconds. A blink of an eye takes 100 to 400.

Power users are fast because they know hundreds of keystrokes by heart, learned over years. Blink is just as fast, and all it asks you to remember is what you want.

Turn on Listen Always and a short command runs as soon as you pause. Start with “Blink” for anything else. It goes quiet during calls, while something plays, and when you step away.

  3. Blink, pause YouTubeSaid to Blink, so it runs it

When it isn’t sure, it asks once, then it learns it.

  1. It heard something it can’t find.

Speech wrote “air b and b” for your Airbnb tab. Rather than guess, Blink offers what looks or sounds like it.

  2. You pick, once.

Say “one”, or click it. Blink switches to the tab and remembers those words, in that app. Or choose Show me, do it yourself, and it learns where you ended up.

  3. From then on, it just runs.

The same words go straight to the Airbnb tab, at full speed. Say “forget that” and it unlearns them.

Blink’s bar drops out of your Mac’s notch, says what it heard and what it did, then slips back in. Prefer the bottom of the screen? It’s one switch in Settings.

Nothing leaves your Mac.

Blink is private first. It hears you, reads your screen and acts, all on your Mac.

  • Speech, on your Mac

Apple’s on-device recognizer, or a speech model that runs on your Mac, turns your voice into words. Nothing is recorded, nothing is kept.

  • Your screen, on your Mac

Blink reads windows and pages through macOS itself, on your Mac. No screenshots are uploaded, nothing is sent to be understood.

  • No account, no tracking

No sign-up, no analytics, no ads. What it learns from you stays in a file on your Mac, and you can delete it.

  • Works offline

It works with Wi-Fi off. Nothing you say or see on your screen is ever sent to an online service. The only downloads are the speech models you choose to add.

Macros (not the nutrients)Teach it a routine.

Record a task once: click, type, press keys. Then say the words you chose, and Blink does it all again.

  • Each step is recorded by what it is, a menu item or a button, not where it was on the screen.
  • Anything risky, like sending or deleting, asks first.
  • Passwords you type while recording are never kept.

Questions

The ones people ask first. Anything else: support@getbl.ink.

What is Blink?

Voice control for your Mac. Hold a key, say what you want and let go: Blink opens the app, clicks the button, moves the window or types the words. It runs on your Mac, and most commands are executed in less than 100 ms.

Is anything sent to the internet?

No. Your voice is turned into words on your Mac, and the screen is read through macOS on your Mac. Blink works with Wi-Fi off, has no account and no analytics. The only downloads are the optional models you choose to add.

Which Macs does it run on?

macOS 26 Tahoe or later, on a Mac with Apple silicon. Intel Macs and older versions of macOS are not supported.

How do I use it?

Hold a key (Right Option at first), say what you want and let go. You can pick another key or combination in Settings, or a mouse button. Prefer to hold nothing? Turn on Listen Always: short commands run as soon as you pause, and anything else is ignored.

How fast is it?

Most commands are executed in less than 100 ms after you let go, measured on an M4 Pro. Older Macs may take a little longer. A vaguer request that needs the optional local model takes about a second.

What can I say?

Open apps, click menu items and buttons by name, arrange windows, drag a file onto a folder, switch tabs, search, scroll and type what you dictate. You can also record your own steps as a macro. Settings lists everything Blink understands, with the ways to say each.

What if it misunderstands me?

Press Esc and it stops at once, whatever it is doing. When it isn’t sure what you mean, it asks once and then remembers the word. Risky actions, like quitting an app, deleting or sending, ask before they run.

Why does it need Accessibility and the microphone?

The microphone and Speech Recognition are how it hears you. Accessibility is how macOS lets it read buttons and menus and press them for you. Screen Recording is optional, for reading the screen when nothing else works. Blink asks for each, with the reason, the first time.

Do I have to download the big model?

No. Blink works with Apple’s speech built into macOS. A faster speech model (about 500 MB) and a local model for vaguer requests (about 7 GB) are optional downloads. Both run on your Mac.

Does it work in other languages?

Not yet. Blink understands English only.

Which browsers can it control?

Safari, Chrome, Brave, Arc, Edge and Vivaldi. Firefox works through Accessibility only, so it can press what macOS can see but not read the page the way it does in the others.

How is it different from macOS Voice Control or Dictation?

Blink is made for quick everyday actions: hold a key, say it, done, without a wake word or a screen full of numbers, and it learns your words. macOS Voice Control is built to run a Mac entirely without a mouse or keyboard. If you need that, use it.

What does it cost?

$19.99 per Mac, paid once. There is no subscription. The price goes up in rounds as copies sell, and several licenses in one order cost less each.

Can I try it first?

Yes. A few commands run without a license, then Blink asks for a key. And if it isn’t for you, you get your money back within 7 days: write to support@getbl.ink.

Do I get updates?

Your license covers the version you bought and the updates released for it. Blink asks before it installs one.

Can I use it on more than one Mac?

One license is for one Mac. For more Macs, buy more licenses in the same order at a discount and assign each one after paying.

Something is broken, or I have an idea.
